After the chaos of the war, Josef I Irlbacher, son of Johann Irlbacher, resumes work in the company. The company is in need of new products. Initially manufactured by hand, Irlbacher soon devises a mechanical process to produce these glass plates cost-effectively, precisely and in large quantities.
