The Irlbacher group is family-owned and at home in the Upper Palatinate. Here a handshake still means something. Our employees are close to home and open-minded. At our premises, you will meet a good 600 specialists from 14 nations. We don’t always agree with each other – but we stand together and work as a team to find the best solutions.
We need people like you. People who have a solid professional background and who want to make a difference. People who are ready to learn new things every day and to break new grounds. And enjoy mastering challenges in a team.
With an average age of slightly below 40 years, we have an optimal age structure. Young people who are eager to prove themselves. Experienced people who help them to find their balance and goals. Old hands who are willing to share their knowledge and experience to shorten the path to the optimal solution.

Bavaria’s Best 50
Success is not a matter of chance
The family-owned company Irlbacher has already been awarded this prize three times, an award presented by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs to the 50 fastest-growing medium-sized companies.
Having won the award in 2007, we were again able to convince the jury in 2008 and 2014 with sustained growth in both employee numbers and sales.

Cooperation with regional universities
The Irlbacher group was also among the winners in 2010 and twice in 2014: firstly, for the “Zero-Emissions Factory” cooperation project with the Amberg-Weiden University of Applied Sciences, and secondly as a founding member of the Karrierenetzwerks Ostbayern (Eastern Bavaria Career Network).
The prize is a bronze sculpture designed by the sculptor Paul Schinner, who lives in Nabburg, 20 minutes down the road from our premises.

The Ascender
Irlbacher receives the award in the category of up-and-coming enterprises with the following statement: “The family-owned company impresses with solid growth, sustainable advancement and early regulation of succession. In 2002, the company was restructured with the founding of Irlbacher Blickpunkt Glas GmbH and other business units. A continuous, sustainable expansion began. On a production area of over 20,000 square meters, 2,500 tons of raw glass are processed annually into innovative and high-quality glass products” (status 2011).
The Bavarian Founder’s Prize is a joint initiative of the Bayerische Sparkassen (Bavarian savings banks), the magazine Stern, ZDF (public-service broadcasting in Germany) and the Porsche Foundation.
