Our application examples for rail vehicles and in the marine and aviation industries

Bearing compass for ships

The direction finder compass, which is located on the ship's external steering position, enables precise orientation even in heavy waves. It must be easy to operate and operate absolutely reliably. And this under extreme conditions, such as maximum UV radiation, salt water and freezing temperatures. The ceramic-printed glass forms a highly stable HMI that combines thick-film technology with integrated electronics. The system is designed to meet the highest protection class, IP69K.

Custom HMI solutions for rail vehicles

Reliability, intuitive operation, and maximum durability are key requirements for modern HMI systems in rail transportation. The driver assistance system shown here is an example of a custom-developed user interface made of chemically or thermally tempered glass. Capacitive control buttons combined with precisely machined finger recesses provide the operator with reliable tactile feedback and enable fast, intuitive operation - even under demanding operating conditions.

When safety is a top priority

A complex glass cover for special aviation applications. As if this part was made of metal... With our modern CNC machines, we process glass just as precisely as metal and can convert CAD data sets, e.g. from dxf or STEP files, into glass workpieces with micrometer accuracy. Among other things, this creates product solutions for the highest requirements in aviation.
