Development of an HMI module with mechanical keys and electronic evaluation (m/f/d)
Responsibility:
Irlbacher's electronics development department has developed a demonstrator to show possible design and operating concepts for modern HMIs. In this internship, you will work on the development of a functional extension module with mechanical keys and accompany the entire development process from idea to commissioning:
- Circuit design and layout of the circuit board
- Assembly and commissioning of the prototype
- Coordination with the CAD department and support for mechanical design
- Development of an additional capacitive evaluation for proximity detection and safe operation
- Integration of force sensors to analyze key pressure and expand operating logic
- Programming a microcontroller to record and evaluate sensors and communicate with the master system
- Test and validate functionality in the entire system
Requirement profile:
- Student (m/f/d) in the field of mechatronics or electrical engineering
- Basic knowledge of circuit development and PCB layout
- First experience with embedded programming is an advantage
- Independent, structured way of working and the ability to work in a team
- Interest in interdisciplinary collaboration with mechanics and software
